Overall this is exactly the kind of under sink filter I was looking for. The size is great, it fits easily under my sink without taking up much space, and for the price I think it is a really good option. The only issue I ran into was with my cold water shut off valve. The threaded connection on my valve was a little shorter, while the connector that comes with this filter is fairly deep. Even after tightening it all the way down, it still had a small leak because it could not fully seal. Luckily I already had a 1/4 inch sealing gasket at home, so I used my own part and the leak was gone right away. If I did not already have that gasket, I probably would have had to stop the installation until I found one. I think it would be nice if the kit included an extra sealing washer or a slightly different connector to fit more types of valves. The product does come with a no thread tape fitting, but I found I had to wrap quite a few layers of thread tape to get a proper seal. Since I had a 1/4 inch PPR silicone sealing gasket in my toolbox, I ended up using that instead and it fit perfectly with no more leaks. Once everything was installed, though, I have been really happy with it. It is compact, easy to hide under the sink, and performs exactly the way I wanted. For someone looking for a small under sink filter instead of a bulky system, this has been a great fit.

I talked with my landlord first about replacing the faucet, but they said no because it would affect the apartment and probably my deposit. Since I rent, I really did not want to risk that. At first I looked at regular under sink systems, but most of them are pretty big and really designed for a whole family. I did not need something that large. I spent quite a while researching until I came across this one. Honestly, I was surprised by the size. Compared to most under sink filters, especially the electric RO ones, this one is much more compact. It is not a reverse osmosis system, it is a pp cotton+active carbon+UF filter, but for my needs it is more than enough. Because of my skin issue, I even asked my doctor, and they said filtering down to 0.01 micron is perfectly suitable for what I was looking for. Another reason I picked this one is because the installation is much easier than most under sink systems. It does not require drilling a hole for a separate faucet. You only connect the inlet and outlet, which made it much more renter friendly. I did struggle a little with one of the connectors because it needed a bit more strength than I expected, and I did not have a wrench at home. the rest was easy. Since I cannot drill into the cabinet wall, I just placed the unit inside the cabinet instead. It is still compact enough that I have plenty of room left for my cleaning supplies and other kitchen items. Overall it has been exactly what I was looking for. simple and renter friendly, and it fits my needs really well without taking over the whole cabinet. I am going to get another one for my kitchen as well.

Yes. The M8-2 can be installed in bathrooms as well as kitchens, providing filtered water for brushing teeth, washing your face, and other daily routines.
Why do people switch from tap water to filtered water?
Common reasons include reducing chlorine taste and odor, improving water clarity, and having cleaner water available directly from the tap.
What should I do if I'm not going to use my unit for an extended period?
For long trips, make sure to store your ROPOT(UV) properly. Start by manually backflushing the unit, then remove and drain the No.1 PP, No.2 CTO, and No.4 PCF filters. Place these 3 filters, along with the No.3 RO filter (which doesn't need draining), in the fridge at around 41°F/5°C. Store the ROPOT(UV) in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. When you return, perform manual backflushing 3 times before using it, and avoid drinking the initial water output. Everything will be in optimal condition for your homecoming. Safe travels!
