Got a less-frequently asked question?
The pH can drop from 7 to 6.2 as a result of pure water reacting with carbon dioxide to form carbonic acid (H2CO3). For balanced alkalinity, Bluevua has introduced a mineral filter to bring back minerals and raise the pH level for the ROPOT(UV) system.
Yes, the system will perform automatic self-cleaning before the first use and each filtration cycle, and when power is restored. This helps to ensure that the filters and internal tubes are free from accumulated contaminants and dirt deposits.
For long trips, make sure to store your ROPOT(UV) properly. Start by manually backflushing the unit, then remove and drain the No.1 PP, No.2 CTO, and No.4 PCF filters. Place these 3 filters, along with the No.3 RO filter (which doesn't need draining), in the fridge at around 41°F/5°C. Store the ROPOT(UV) in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. When you return, perform manual backflushing 3 times before using it, and avoid drinking the initial water output. Everything will be in optimal condition for your homecoming. Safe travels!
The Bluevua ROPOT(UV) system has undergone rigorous independent testing by renowned organizations.
